Tovel’s™ Gin is the only Italian Gin distilled using the “Vapor Infusion” method. It is a London Dry Gin that contains a unique botanical selection entirely from Trentino. The extraction of the aromatic properties of the botanicals takes place through alcoholic vapour infusion in our historic still, completely built in copper and hand-beaten by master craftsmen from Trentino in the early years of the last century.
After distillation Tovel’s Gin is brought to an alcohol content of 45% with pure spring water from the Tovel alpine spring from which it takes its name. The result is a fascinating bouquet that gradually reveals its components. Tovel’s™ Gin is characterised by a fresh and smooth taste with slightly spicy and aromatic hints. Tovel’s™ Gin is produced entirely using artisanal methods in the heart of the Adamello Brenta Natural Park, in Tassullo TN.
Tovel’s™ Gin Tresenga Blood is the limited edition of Tovel’s Gin (the only Italian Gin distilled using the “Vapor Infusion” method). Tresenga Blood is prepared by blending the original steam distillate of nine Trentino botanicals (Alpine Juniper, mountain Pine, Elderflower, Meadow Cumin, Angelica, Gentian, Ash, Dogwood, and Lemon Peel), hibiscus flowers, dried red berries and saffron, which not only give it an original flavour but also give the distillate a natural red colour: just like the colour Lake Tovel’s (which springs from the same Alpine spring that provides the purest water from which Tovel’s Gin is made) took on when it turned red.
The legend of Lake Tovel lives again in the Tresenga Blood version: produced in 2000 bt. only, it becomes a must-have excellence. The extraction of the aromatic characters of the botanicals takes place by means of alcoholic vapour infusion in our historic still, completely built in copper and hand-beaten by Trentino master craftsmen in the early years of the last century.
